A logo is the smallest part of an identity. What matters is whether the whole thing still works at 30 metres on a billboard, at 3 centimetres on a shelf, in a template someone in your team has to fill in on a Friday afternoon, and in a format that did not exist when the guidelines were written.

We design identity as a system: the architecture, the typography, the colour, the iconography, the motion, and the rules that let it stretch without coming apart. Then we take it into the places it actually has to live — packaging, retail and point of sale, outdoor, events and activations, print and editorial, and the digital surfaces where most people will meet it first.

Because the system is designed with its applications in mind, the work that comes after it is faster and more consistent. That is the point of doing it properly once.
